Sarah Bardwell
Sarah is the Director of the Handel House Museum, the restored, Georgian, Mayfair house where Handel lived and composed for 36 years until his death in 1759. Sarah has worked as a fundraiser at the Royal Albert Hall and English National Opera and has studied as a fellow in arts management at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
Rob Dean
BSc&BCom, PGCDMM, MBA
Rob works as a financial consultant in the UK and across
Europe advising both banks and major organisations. He provides
financial and general business advice to Pegasus Opera.
Carmen Morris-Coulson
LLB (Hons), MA Arts Administration
Carmen Morris-Coulson, Director of Plan My Life, a
marketing and lifestyle management company has over 10 years experience
in the arts. Using her skills, developed as a Marketing &
Audience Development Manager at Unicorn Theatre and Box Office Manager
at Chicken Shed Theatre, she supports her diverse portfolio of
commercial clients to market and grow their businesses. Carmen’s
interest in opera was sparked by a school visit at the aged of 16 and
believes opera can be relevant to all people. Carmen interned at San
Francisco Opera and English Touring Opera whilst studying for an MA
Arts Administration.

Uzo Onwere
BA, LLM, MBA
Secretary
Uzo is a lawyer specialising in International Capital
Market transactions and advises Pegasus on legal matters.
Ted Townsend
MBA, MSc, BA (hons)
Chair
Ted Townsend joined the board in March 2006, and was
recently appointed chair.
Originally from Canada, he started his career in London as
a strategy consultant, followed by a time as an investment
banker, and most recently as a commercial magazine publisher.
John Ward
Vice Chair
John Ward has had extensive experience in arts
fundraising. From 1988 until 2003 he was successively
Director of Development or equivalent at Opera North, West Yorkshire
Playhouse, English National Opera and the Crafts Council. He
is currently Development Advisor (London) to Welsh National Opera.
Prior to 1988 he was General Secretary of the First
Division Association (FDA), the TUC affiliated trade union for senior
civil servants, negotiating with government ministers, including Prime
Minister Thatcher.
His other voluntary positions include Governor of
Gallions Primary School in Beckton, East London, and board member of
Swindon Town FC Supporters Trust.
